Create a large willow Butterfly or Dragonfly , Friday 17th July, Salisbury

Join us for a relaxing and creative workshop in the beautiful, peaceful gardens of the Wardrobe Rifles Museum in Salisbury, where you’ll create your own striking willow butterfly or dragonfly sculpture.

Working with natural brown willow, you’ll learn how to shape and weave your sculpture step by step in a calm and welcoming setting. You can then add your own creative flair using coloured willow or vibrant twine, or choose to keep your piece simple and decorate it later at home.

Whether you’re completely new to willow weaving or have some experience, this workshop offers a wonderful opportunity to slow down, get creative, and enjoy a mindful day surrounded by nature, history, and like-minded people.

You will need to bring your own lunch and a bucket.

 You will need good hand dexterity for working with willow. We will also  be standing quite a lot, and this is quite a physical activity. 

As we all work at different speeds, sometimes students take more time than others and prefer to take home materials to carry on at home which is fine 

 Please note that places need to be booked at least one week in advance if you wish  to join me after this date, please contact me
