Weave a willow mushroom in the New Forest (25th October)

Step into the magical village of Burley in the New Forest—known as the home of witchcraft and magic—and craft your very own willow mushroom or toadstool, just the way you like it!

Shape the stem however you wish—delicate and slender or bold and sturdy. Then, design your cap: choose a small, charming style or go for a larger, eye-catching statement piece.

 As you work, you can follow traditional basket weaving techniques for a timeless, natural feel, or let your creativity take over with freeform or random weaving for a truly unique sculpture.

You will need to bring your own lunch and a bucket.

Please read 

You will need good hand dexterity for working with willow we will also  be standing quite a lot and this is quite a physical activity.

As we all work at different speeds sometimes students take more time than others and prefer to take home materials to carry on at home which is fine

 Please note that places need to be booked at least one week in advance if you wish  to join me after this date pleae contact me
