Refunds & Returns Policy
For Physical Items (UK Mainland Only)
Items Eligible for Refund
We accept refunds for:
Items not yet posted
Items already made (excluding craft kits)
Items ordered but not yet made
Items damaged during transit (excluding packaging)
Payments made via Stripe or PayPal may take up to 10 days to show in your account once processed. Bank transfers are typically quicker.
Gift voucher purchases are non-refundable, unless the item arrives damaged.
Cancelling an Order Before Posting
You may cancel an order before it has been posted.
Your refund will include the full product price minus any administration costs, such as payment gateway fees (usually 2–3%).
If courier arrangements were already made, these charges will also be deducted.
Returning Delivered Ready-Made Artwork
You may request a return within 14 days of receiving your item.
To qualify for a refund, the item must be:
Unused
In the same condition as received
Handled only as necessary to assess it
Returned in a resaleable condition
Once your return request is approved, the item must be returned promptly to the Southampton address provided in your delivery details.
Return Postage
Return shipping costs and the safe return of the item are the customer’s responsibility.
We strongly recommend tracked, insured delivery and taking photographs before packaging.
Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving your returned item, using your original payment method.
Deductions may include:
Payment gateway fees
Original postage costs
Any additional expenses incurred
A full refund breakdown will be issued.
Damaged Items on Arrival
If your item arrives damaged, please follow the instructions in the Refunds & Returns section of our General Terms & Conditions.
Because each artwork is unique, exact replacements cannot be provided. You may choose:
A similar new artwork
A full refund
A replacement gift voucher (if originally purchased with a voucher)
For orders shipped outside the UK mainland, any return-related costs (VAT, customs fees, etc.) will be deducted from the refund.
Workshop Refunds /
Within 14 Days of Purchase
Refunds are available within 14 days of purchase, provided the workshop is not scheduled within the next 30 days.
Payment gateway fees (2–3%) will be deducted.
After 14 Days & Up to 30 Days Before the Event
You may:
Transfer to another workshop that has spaces available on one occasion or
Use the value toward any shop item (excluding gift vouchers)
If the new option is more expensive, you must pay the difference.
Workshops Paid with Gift Vouchers
Non-refundable
Transferable to another course up to 30 days before the workshop date on one occasion
Price differences apply if the new workshop costs more; the additional funds will need to be paid
Less Than 30 Days Before the Workshop
No refunds or transfers are available.
FAQs
How long will my refund take?
Stripe and PayPal may take up to 10 days to return funds. Bank transfers are faster.
Are payment gateway fees deducted?
Yes. These are non-refundable charges from the payment provider (2–3%).
Can I return an item bought with a gift voucher?
Only if it arrived damaged.
Who covers return postage?
The customer is responsible for return postage and the item’s condition during transit.
What if my item arrives damaged?
You may request a refund, a similar replacement, or a replacement gift voucher for the remainder period of the voucher. Please read details as to how to do this as set out under the full terms and conditions
Can I exchange an artwork?
No—each artwork is unique, so exact exchanges aren’t possible.
Can I transfer my workshop place?
Yes. Transfers are allowed up to 30 days before the workshop.
Do I get back the original delivery fee?
For damaged items, yes. For change-of-mind returns, postage is deducted.
