I create a range of wildlife-friendly creations, including birdhouses, feeders and related items.

I only work with willow that I have either grown myself or has been sourced from other sustainable growers based in the south of England 

I do not treat the birdhouses as I think that the willow should dry out naturally. I advise using boiled linseed on my sculptures, which, although suitable to use for wildlife, I feel may discourage birds from using the nest. 

If you want to varnish the outside, various varnishes are listed as being wildlife-friendly.
