Willow chicken/ hen sculpture ( made to order)

This willow hen is getting all comfortable, getting ready to nest and brood its chicks 

It measures approximately 40cm height, 40cm width , 40 cm length and created to order.

Please note that  I currently have a minimum of a 7 weeks  lead time, if you wish to order

. If you are purchasing it as a gift, I am happy to provide you with a certificate to present to someone special whilst it is being created. 

 Practicalities

I am happy to make her in different colours using light brown, medium brown and dark brown as shown here. Please let me know if you wish me to use a different colour. if you prefer me to add the detail around the head in a rusty red brown colour there is an additional charge 

Details

If you decide to keep the chicken outside, it will last for 3-5 years or more if my aftercare advice is followed. Like many of us, it doesnt like sitting in wet ground and will need to live in a free-draining area, which will help it to stay well.

If brought under cover / sheltered in harsh conditions in the winter they willow keep in better condition. Pampered  animals living indoors will live well into old age
