These paintings form a parallel strand to my willow and basketry work. While the sculptural work is shaped through natural materials and structure in three dimensions, the paintings explore similar ideas through colour, gesture and surface in two dimensions.

They sit within an ongoing practice rooted in natural form, observation and making.
