Willow Robin at the Wardobe/ Rifles Museum Salisbury Saturday 12th December

Join me at The Rifles Museum in Salisbury for a relaxed day of willow weaving, where you’ll learn how to make your own willow robin.

I’ll guide you through the process step-by-step, showing you how to shape and weave the willow to create your bird. You’ll learn some simple willow weaving techniques while developing your robin’s shape and character as you work.

The workshop is suitable for beginners as well as those with some previous experience. You don’t need to have woven with willow before – I’ll be on hand throughout the day to demonstrate the techniques and help you along the way.

Your finished robin will be unique to you and makes a lovely seasonal decoration for your home, garden or as a handmade gift.

All willow and tools are provided. The day will be relaxed and informal, with plenty of guidance, tea, cake and biscuits along the way.

No previous willow weaving experience is needed.

Additional information

Refreshments, biscuits and cake is provided

You will need to bring your own lunch and a bucket.

 You will need good hand dexterity for working with willow

As we all work at different speeds sometimes students take more time than others and prefer to take home materials to carry on at home which is fine 

 Please note that places need to be booked at least one week in advance if you wish  to join me after this date, please contact me
