Celebrate National Swift Awareness Week!

In just over one week, local swift groups across the country are hosting a variety of events — from guided walks and informative talks to swift-watching evenings — all aimed at raising awareness about these incredible birds and their conservation, as they are now on the UK Red list due to their declining numbers.
To support the effort, the RSPB has developed the Swift Mapper App, a great tool for anyone lucky enough to spot swifts or have them nesting nearby. It’s a fantastic way to contribute to swift conservation by recording sightings.
Want to get crafty? You can now make your willow swift, and swallow at home! I offer DIY craft kits, perfect for all skill levels, which are available for just £30 + postage.
