Small willow hare sculpture for sale ( created to order)

He /she will be created with a more open weave which allows you to personalise them by threading through lights, flowers or anything you choose, created as either a moongazing hare as shown in the photos or a more upright hare with head facing forward and ears erect.

To see a version with the ears upright if you look at the large hare, the ears and head will be similar in shape if you want the ears to face a different way, you have the option to tell me when you place the order

 Please note that this item will be made to order and will take me several weeks to complete . If you are purchasing it as a gift, I am happy to provide you with a certificate to present to someone special whilst it is being created.

 Details

  The size will be approximately  41 cm base height to top of head,  the ear length is  approximately 20 -25 cm,  depending on whether it is down or up

 My current lead time is 5 weeks  to create, depending on how busy I am. If you are purchasing it as a gift, I am happy to provide you with a certificate to present to someone special while it is being created.

Aftercare 

Hare  will ideally be treated before it goes outside and should last between  3  and 5   years  or longer if the aftercare instructions are followed.

If brought under cover / sheltered in harsh conditions in the winter, it will age more gracefully after all none of us like spending long periods of time out in cold  wet weather.

Further details

The appearance of natural materials may change over time with light, humidity, or temperature. If you choose to place it outside, outdoor exposure can cause colours to fade or darken, and the materials will deteriorate over time with exposure to the elements. I provide settling-in information with all of my artwork
